Now users can use voice over internet protocol (VoIP) by using existing telephony products and methods by using Matrix ComSec’s SETU ATA211G. The device has been designed for small business and residential users to offer them the advantages of low tariff Internet telephony. Matrix SETU converts VoIP network to traditional telephony interfaces and vice-versa. It is an SIP based analog terminal adapter which interfaces legacy telephone devices with IP-based networks. The Setu offers connectivity to GSM networks besides standard IP connectivity. It allows a user to use a standard telephone instrument and yet make VoIP and GSM calls.
